Meet Dr. Shenkarow
Rana Shenkarow, DMD, BSc, MSc, FRCDC
Dr. Shenkarow is committed to delivering healthy and beautiful smiles to patients of all ages. Her dedication to outstanding results is evident in her patients' new smiles as well as their increased self confidence in everything they do. She begins each case with a customized treatment plan to meet the unique needs of every patient. Utilizing her professional experience, knowledge, and training, Dr. Shenkarow guides each patient to the end result of the perfect smile.
Dr. Shenkarow and her Team strive to provide you with a positive and rewarding experience throughout your orthodontic treatment. Education and Continuing Education
For Dr. Shenkarow’s dental education, she received Bachelor of Science and dental degrees from the University of Manitoba, then practiced pediatric dentistry at Winnipeg's Children's Hospital. She completed postgraduate training in orthodontics at the University of Toronto and was awarded a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics. Dr. Shenkarow achieved board certification as a fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada and came home to start this practice over ten years ago.
Dr. Shenkarow attends multiple training sessions and continuing education lectures every year and is always looking for emerging developments to benefit our patients. As a result of this advanced training and experience, Dr. Shenkarow is recognized by Invisalign as a Premier Provider.
She has been a clinical instructor at the University of Manitoba, teaching orthodontics to dental students and is an active member of the following professional organizations:

Our Office
The most upbeat and fun quality about our practice is the interesting collection of personalities and interests among our staff. What we share in common is that we all have a cheerful and approachable manner. Every one of our team members strive to make our office a friendly and warm environment where our patients always feel welcome. You’ll often hear laughter in our office, and we love to make you smile!
Outside the Practice
When she is not in the office, Dr. Shenkarow can usually be found spending time with her husband Morris, their two wonderful daughters, Abbie and Greer, and little boy Nathaniel. Hobbies include reading, baking and travelling.
