Meet Dr. Laberge
Christie Lynne Bailley Laberge, DMD
My job is all about caring for each and every patient. I enjoy developing a relationship with my patients and becoming their friend. My profession means more to me than simply bonding braces on patients. It is about providing positive change and understanding the patient as an individual person as well as providing a beautiful, healthy smile.
I love that I get to establish a long term relationship with patients and their families. I believe a big component of what I do is providing the highest level of care to the patient. I enjoy critically analyzing a case and determining which treatment options are best for that patient. I then fully inform the patient and parent of those options before deciding together what our course of action will be.
Education and Continuing Education
For my orthodontic education, I received my Bachelor of Science in Dentistry, and my Doctor of Medical Dentistry with honours. After graduating from dentistry, I was the Pediatric Clinic Coordinator for the Faculty of Dentistry undergraduate program at the University of Manitoba, and practiced general dentistry in private practice until I started the graduate orthodontic program at the University of Manitoba. I then received my Master of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from the University of Manitoba.
As an orthodontist, my profession changes constantly with emerging technologies. In order to stay current with the newest methods, I take many courses and seminars every year that give me the resources I need to provide our patients with the high quality care they deserve. As a part of my continuing education, I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada as well as an active member of the following professional organizations:

- American Association of Orthodontics
- Manitoba Dental Association
Our Office
In our office, we always strive to make our patients feel welcome! We have a warm and sunny office. Each member of our team has years of experience and it is our goal to provide efficient and comprehensive treatment to every patient. We also have a stars reward system where good oral hygiene and compliance allow patients to earn stars. When you have five stars you get a gift certificate!
Family Life
I grew up in Winnipeg and am proud to serve the families of our community. My family at home includes my wonderful husband, Michael, and our baby boy named Jake. We also have a dog named Otis. In my spare time, I enjoy running, pilates and volleyball.
